N1342 is a compact network appliance with an Intel N150 processor, two 10GbE SFP+ ports (Intel 82599), two Intel i226-V 2.5GbE ports and two RS232/RS485 serial ports on a Phoenix connector. The mix of 10G fibre and industrial serial I/O makes it useful beyond the office: it can protect an OT network, act as a fibre-connected edge gateway, or run a small firewall with TPM 2.0 and low power draw.

Operating environment
N1342 is rated for wide-temperature operation from -10°C to 60°C (storage -20°C to 70°C). That headroom matters in the Gulf, where equipment cabinets, kiosks and plant rooms run well above room temperature through the summer.
